Bitcoin activist, Mick Mulvaney, was selected by US President Donald Trump as the new chief of staff of the White House wants to bring Bitcoin to the White House. This politician will soon become the White House Chief Of Staff and at this time works for Trump’s presidency as the chief executive of the management and budget office.

Trumps Relationship with Mulvaney

As per the Washington Post, he is ” known for his declared backing for small government” and was among the House Republicans who called for serious budget reforms during Obama’s term in 2013. In 2010, Mulvaney was appointed to the United States House of Representatives as a leader of the tea party movement in South Carolina.

The Republican Congressman was selected in December 2016 as Donald Trump’s pick to be the chief executive of the management and budget office. However, news outlets in the admin of The Washington Post, Trump chose Mulvaney because ” he liked him” and ” they get along.” In addition, representatives noted, the president recognizes the new staff leader ” a talented golf partner.”

After Trump had fought to narrow the position, Mulvaney is now the third chief of staff in just two years. Former Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie, declined the job offer for Chief of Staff as the first choice of the president. Vice President Mike Pence ‘s chief of staff, Nick Ayers, was deemed as Trump’s second choice but declined in December earlier.

The position of Chief of Staff may not seem entirely rational in the present environment and it is near impossible under this chairman. No one wants the title because it is extremely difficult to conduct. Despite the character of Trump and his assumption that he can fly alone, Mulvaney wants to bring Bitcoin to the White House.

Mulvaney, Crypto & Blockchain

A cryptocurrency academic event, ” Bitcoin Demo Day” in 2014, organised on Capitol Hill, was the beginning of Mulvaney’s relationship with cryptocurrencies to bring Bitcoin to the White House . In September 2016, Democrat Congressman Jared Polis and Mulvaney, co- organized the congressional Blockchain Legislature, a network to keep their peers up to speed with digital currency and blockchain innovations and to explore options in this region.

At about the same time, Mulvaney also worked with the Coin Center, a non- profit group headquartered in Washington that concentrates on forming interaction between Congress and the crypto-community. Mulvaney apparently supported Bitcoin as a currency that is ” not manipulable by any government,” although strongly chastising the Federal Reserve for ” devaluing the dollar.”
